Paul McCartney has hinted at a collaboration with Ringo Starr. A new `half` version of the Beatles may appear at the London Olympics opening ceremony. He mentioned this on US TV when asked if he would appear at the ceremony and then quickly backtracked when he realised he might have revealed too much information. London newspaper The Sun also published a vague report that the other half of the Beatles - John Lennon and George Harrison - could be represented by their children.
Paul is used to playing Beatles greatest hits at big events. For example, he played at the American Super Bowl, at the final of the British X Factor 2009 or at the Live Aid charity event, and the Beatles' placement in the Olympics program cannot be denied, as they are England's biggest musical export.
The details are hazy at the moment, but I think we can all agree that there is definitely something to look forward to, but we mustn't forget that the Beatles will never be the same. RIP John Lennon and George Harrison.
