The following article is an informative guide on how it is theoretically possible to run the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard operating system on a regular PC, not only with an Intel processor, but also with an AMD processor. The article does not serve as inspiration, as the following instructions will violate the license terms of the company Apple Inc., such behavior is then of course illegal, so please take everything as an example of the capabilities of the operating systems.
1. Download Hackintosh iso image from internet named Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 Intel AMD made by Hazard
2. Download, install and then open Virtual Box
3. Click on Nový then click on Next
4. To the column Name enter the name (for example OSX), select the Operating system in the box Mac OS X and select the version Mac OS X Server
5. Set the amount of RAM to be reserved for the virtual machine.
6. Tick it Create a new hard drive and click on Next and straight away once more.
7. Choose your Mac OS X size and finish creating the new virtual machine.
8. Click on settings and go to the Storage column.
9. Click on the disk with the name None and right-click the folder with the green arrow.
10. Click on the option at the top add, find the Mac image from the first step and press the button to confirm Choose.
11. Since we will no longer need anything in the settings, you can close it and start the virtual computer by pressing the button Start.
12. Select the language in which you will perform the installation already in the virtual computer.
13. Click on the bar at the top Utilities and go to Disk Utility.
14. Click on the “disk” you will be installing the Mac on and at the top on the Erase (right next to it First Aid).
15. To the column Size Format choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled), into the box Name type the name of your virtual Mac and click on Erase. Now you can Disk Utility close.
16. Click on Continue, confirm the license terms, click on the virtual disk and click on again Continue.
17. Click Customize and check all of these driveRy:
Owners of a computer with an Intel processor
- Update Mac OS X, which lies on top.
- Boot Loaders
- The latest version of Chameleon boot loader
- kernels
- Legacy Kernel
AMD processor computer owners
- Update Mac OS X, which lies on top.
- kernels
- Legacy kernel
- AMD
18. Click on Done and then on Install. Wait a few minutes for the Mac to install into the virtual machine.
19. After a routine restart, you will appear in the user account settings, which you can set according to yourself.
21. If you have successfully created an account on your virtual Mac, you have successfully installed your Mac on your computer through Virtual Box!

and how will it be with the sound system, graphics, etc.? I installed OS X via VMWare and couldn't download the drivers anywhere :D... even though there was a pre-installed installer :)
Will 1GB RAM and 20GB HDD be enough? (I have 2GB of RAM and about 25GB free on the HDD) I have an ASUS F5N, I already asked, it can handle MAC OS X, but people say that it needs at least 50GB of HDD, is that true?
1 GB of RAM is really not enough for a virtual pc, if you have win 7, use the ready boost function.
Where did you download it?
And 1,5 GB would be enough? I have WinXP.
Perfrey: if you can't search, you don't have a job.ancand, don't expect a link here, we're not a warezforum...
I'll try to install it on my Vaio and see what that does. I haven't found anything fully functional yet :-)
I wonder why when installing Virtual Box, it first threw me a red message that the internet would be disconnected or something, but it worked, so I probably shouldn't have disconnected it manually.. And at the end it threw me an error that it wasn't verified Microsofterm, I don't know, well, I said continue and again, I said cancel, and it started, I don't know. Plus, I can't recover Mac because I don't have an NTFS disk, so another problem.
Works perfectly, thanks for the tutorial. I tried to get it working once, it was still VitualBox in version 2 and somehow it didn't work. Now in version 3, it already has an entry for MacOS, so no problem.
For now, I just hope it will work, I haven't found the system yet.
I have a problem, I gave it a 20GB HDD, I didn't want to take more, and when there are about 23 minutes left to the end, it always reports an error like the hard disk is full, while the system would only want to take 7GB with everything selected, you don't know how solve?
And when I choose what to install, should I choose both versions of Leopard, or just one? And I can't influence the fact that I also chose to install Quicktime? I read somewhere on the internet that I should limit my RAM to 1280 MB, we'll see.
set the second option to "fixed disk size" something like auto-expanding or something :)
Yes, that's how I set it up, I didn't try the fixed disk size, but it probably won't be Harddisk, anyway, I'll try again, but somehow it messed up my wi-fi, and it gives me error 871122..

Everything works fine, I just have one problem - when I go to fullscreen, my screen expands a little and there is only a black area around it... do you know how to make fullscreen over the entire screen? Thanks
VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Some guest operating systems (eg OS/2 and QNX) require this feature and will therefore fail to start
please help me what to do with it, thank you
Hello, would I run it on this laptop?
http://notebook.cz/clanky/recenze-notebook/2007/Asus-F5N
Thanks for the reply
When I do everything as I should and start the set virtual machine in the virtual box (I have the same image but I've tried other ones) then only a black screen always appears :( don't you know what it is?
Scots: probably not, I have 3 GB of RAM and another 2 GB for ready boost (about 5 GB in total) and it's not great. These hackintoshes are only ideal for creating a bootable flash drive for netbooks (I wrote about it here on lsa instructions), it is practically unusable for normal work...
Jiri bicek: but it would be like a fax, wouldn't it? I know it's slow, but that guy James Blond was doing the same thing ;-) should I try it?
can you pls advise me how to download the Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 Intel AMD made by Hazard because it showed me something completely different...
Please help! I didn't see the 12th step, only when I clicked "start" did I see a shift: and I could write like a console, nothing else was shown to me
OK Sorry for the spam…..I still have a problem….this time at step 18 when koneDuring the installation, it pauses at about 40% and when I start it again, it seems to be running for about 2 hundredths of a second and then suddenly it pauses again... for about the third time...
Dear..if you want to test something that works almost like a real Mac, then look only for the iAtkos distribution. I've run it on all Intel chipset laptops I've owned. Everything works as it should... nothing crashes.... It is definitely better to have a clean installation than "just" a virtual one. Have a nice day
Somehow it doesn't bother me every time I start the SL installation, it loads and then throws an error(http://twitpic.com/3bpn1a).
I have an AMD Phenom, 4GB DDR and an ATI HD4780.
Díky
Michal: not everyone can afford a clean installation, there are few drivers (kexts) and it is almost impossible to come across a hackintosh with a working network card...
Hi,
i do everything according to the instructions, then i run it and i just get a black screen [ http://img828.imageshack.us/img828/9798/vstiekg.jpg ] with some text. Don't know what the problem is? Thanks
Hello, I want to ask how to add a USB so that it works on my Mac, thanks
Jiří BICEK: I personally tested a lot of possible installations. I am currently using iAtkos S3 V2 on a Compal HEL80 machine. Absolutely everything works, including the official software update. Rear collapse. The only thing I have a problem with is the integrated website...I don't use it, so I don't think about it. Otherwise, as I already mentioned, it is ideal to have a computer equipped with Intel. And as far as kext file availability is concerned, the best is kexts.com. After a simple registration, thousands of useful files are available.
To Michal: Your problem with the black screen is due to the selection of the wrong kernel of the system and the processor. Not everything works on everything. Search in google. It's a pretty common problem. Not insurmountable at all. Good luck
I tried to install. Everything will go well. After the restart, however, it should go to the installation and not to "Create your Account"
. It's not that I downloaded the version of Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 SSE2 SSE3 Intel ADM by Hazard.iso but it was called Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 Intel ADM by Hazard.rar on the net.
Hello, thanks for the great instructions. I've already tried everything, but it annoys me that I can only set the native screen resolution to 1024×768. Does anyone have instructions on how to enable a higher resolution? It would be best to install "Guest Additions", but I have a feeling that this is just a drivery for Linux OS (Ubuntu, etc.)

Hello, does anyone know how to help, even though I have a Realtek 8139, it does not see the network? Report error localhost kextd[47]
Thanks
Did someone run the usb?? I did everything according to the instructions and it works.. but I regret the USB.. I would need to connect the iPhone and iPad to iTunes..
It works for someone on an intel atom 330, I read somewhere that it is not supported and it throws me off: VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration is not available on your system. I also tried installing some versions directly on the hdd, the installation was successful, but I could not boot into the mac
Does this method work under 64bit win 7? Thanks for the info
The 19 step doesn't work for me. After the restart, the installation starts again. If there is a problem with the bootloader or the chipset.
I have a MB Asus P5
Chipset from Intel
Intel Core2 Quad CPU
Virtual box 4.0.1
Windows XP OS
I would be grateful if someone could help and advise.
If you want to use OS X like this:
a\ buy a mac
b\ build a "hackintosh"
c\ use existing pc + replace unsupported HW
Hackintosh recommendations:
I do not recommend processors from AMD for hackintosh!
chipset must be intel NOT nvidia or amd! (Logic boards pro Apple Intel again!)
)
the most suitable mainstream graphics is AMD Radeon HD 5770
consult on http://www.insanelymac.com
BUY RETAIL DVD! These hacked distributions are nestabilní, –> > After the update your system may not work at all, etc. so install from the retail original DVD from apple or buy a mac!!
Hello, I have a problem: The installation goes well until even then the system restarts but does not start creat account but installation again, I do not understand why.. Win7 64bit intel core 2 duo 2.2ghz will be grateful for help
@Šimon: Erm... And isn't it by chance that you're booting from the CD again?
@Win2mac: Konereally someone who writes about the matter here. I completely agree with everything! (I've already built a few of those PC Macs too...)
@Others: If you don't have experience with it on real compatible iron, don't try to break it apart in virtual. Waste of time!!! I'm in awe of anyone who gets into things that require so much more than a quick click of a gaming mouse…
Can anyone help? How should I install Mac OS X 10.7 Lion on a 40 GB disk in a PC? write to email djnando@djnandoweb.tk or on skype: djnando21. Thanks
PC configuration :¨
2,40 GhZ processor

An error occurred while running the virtual machine! The error details are shown below. You can try to fix the described error and resume the running of the virtual machine.
The I/O cache encountered an error while updating data in medium "ahci-0-0" (rc=VERR_DISK_FULL). Make sure there is enough free space on the disk and that the disk is working properly. Operation can be resumed afterwards.
Error ID: BLKCACHE_IOERR
Severity: Non-critical error
pls help :/
Also, after installation and restart, the installation finds me again, what about that? Please help.
@Win2mac: Advice over gold, but let v Apple I look at the store, as I look, I only see an upgrade from the previous version to Lion. I don't see that I could just buy a medium with a Lion installation on a clean machine...
It also throws me into the installation again after installation
the table that is in step 10. I can't find it there, I just don't have it there, and I don't know how to get it there, and how it is in step 9. the arrow pointing to something yesterday I have to open something, so it's not there either, if someone can give me some advice I will be happy. I'll just keep trying until I get it going :D

if I have the original Leopard DVD, will it work too?
Does anyone know how to do it if they throw it back into the install after a successful install?
