There are many conjectures circulating on Czech and Slovak internet discussions about how and whether it is even possible to shop with a credit card from our region in America Applestore, what is the tax and others. Many of them are just assumptions that are untrue. Therefore, I will now provide you with my personal experience with shopping in Apple stori and I will describe how the whole process of buying (specifically an iPad) in America Apple story was going on.
Order
The very first day after arriving in New Yorku like a real apple picker I headed straight for Apple 5 cents per poundvenuE. Traditionally, there were an awful lot of people there and if I wanted to play with any of the equipment that was on display I had to literally put up a fight, as most Americans use by the way Apple stori ako zdroj bezplatného Internet kaffé a vedia pri jednom počítači presedieť dosť dlhú chvúľu. Po vystáti 30minútovej fronty k pokladni mi bolo povedané že iPady nemajú a musím si ho dodatočne doobjednať. (s čím som počítal ) ale nevadilo mi to. Predávači v obchode boli nadmieru prívetiví a perfektne som sa s nimi porozprával o Appli as such. Their English was clear and they spoke slowly so I could understand them perfectly.
I immediately received a message about the order on my email. I was quite surprised that all emails were so to speak "dry". The images that were most likely attached to the email were not displayed at all.

Every day I eagerly refreshed my email client in an attempt to see an email from apple that my iPad is already at the store. At that time, iPad deliveries were 7-10 days. I was quite fired up when I discovered an email from on the 7th apple but after reading it I remained cold again as it was only a notice that they were moving me to the priority list.
On the 10th day after ordering, I went toonehe didn't wait! My email arrived and I immediately set off for the crowded one Apple century I stood in line for the iPad and it was time to pay! The price for a 32GB Wifi iPad is listed online at $599. At the cash register, however, the salesman quoted me the price for the iPad at 660 dollars, which surprised me because you can buy the 30 GB version for 64 dollars more on the Internet. The American Tax in my case was equal to 53,16 US dollars. (Tax varies by state in the US) The seller charged (unbeknownst to me) a tip of $7,84. Well, I didn't have to pay anything. Logically, I reached for the payment card and handed it to the seller, who handed it back to me. I was taken aback, because at first I didn't understand why he didn't want to accept it, so I logically reached for the second VISA card. But he refused me that too. He told me that my card is labeled electron (European cards that have better security) and terminals that in Apple they cannot read this type of payment card. I was taken aback and the seller obviously noticed this and therefore suggested that I go to the nearest ATM and withdraw money there. He described the route in detail, so I had no problem getting there and withdrawing the money. After returning again to Apple the store clerk was already waiting for me and let me go ahead so that I wouldn't have to wait in a long line again. I paid. I received the iPad, but without proof of payment, which arrived in the mail the next day.
summary
-If you go to buy anything in apple so count on that miniyou will spend almost half an hour in the store
-Yes Apple states on the Internet that the delivery of goods is 1-3 days, so you have to count on a slower alternative
-Prepare a credit card, if possible not electron!
– If you are going to pay in cash, take with you more than the price of the device that you can find on the Internet
– good luck, strong nerves and I wish you a pleasant experience! Because for such an atmosphere as you will experience in Apple you won't come across stori that easily :D
If you have your own shopping experience Apple Stori, don't hesitate to join us in the sub-article discussion!

And how about going through it one after the other and correcting the mistakes?
It's amazing how many people in our region dwell on the errors in the article instead of discussing the substance. There is hardly a single discussion on the Czech Internet where the same stupid and unnecessary contributions do not appear. After all, it will probably take some time for us to reach the level of debaters in the West, where they treat each other decently and tolerantly in discussions (mostly and with exceptions) :-)
Those aren't even mistakes, that's total ignorance of grammar.
But the article is cool :)
Thank you very much for the great purchase report.
I'm quite surprised that you v applethey will take the cake themselves without asking you about it.
Does anyone have a list of US states with an indication of how much the TAX is in each state?
In most western countries, "disc" is a common thing and is directly included in the final price to be paid. It only seems strange to us in post-communist countries. In a normal country, people value services and people. This is how it manifests itself.
sorry Youri but I don't like this again. If someone deserves a trinket, most people will give it to him. But when I come to a business where I wait 15 minutes for the waiter. Then you donehe eats cold food and pretends it's normal, and in the end you start him off in a Russian debate with a colleague about who overdid the tea, and if he wants to tringlet, he does so with an open palm.
It is necessary to say not only A but also B. It is not that we have fallen behind in giving tringelt. First of all, we are lagging behind in management and services.
Just an addition, we shopped in the US a week ago apple store online, and also without any problems :)
Sorry, I don't want to offend anyone, but what is this article for? A person who owns a product knows how it works, a person who doesn't will probably buy it online and a person who visits some apple store I'll hear it there.
In addition, it works like a normal store. Electron is a generally good card, some are not even international; you can buy with MC or Visa in 99% of stores.
Sales Tax can be found on wikipedia.
Then I shouldn't be the last to think that people are sheep through apples :( I'd rather keep quiet about grammar.
2 Youri :
I never nestTo add something extra, I shopped in Colorado and in the London AStor.
NestI haven't had this happen in any other official store.
The person should have talked about the bill, and they would normally have printed it out for him if he insisted on it, or he should have figured out how much he had to pay, that's how the salesman just screwed him.
It took a lot of courage to take a ten day trip to New Yorku, vybrať tam hotovosť z bankomatu, komunikovať v cudzom jazyku, kúpiť iPad! Bude určite šokujúce sledovať, čo autor dokáže, až sa dostane (v čo pevne verím) na druhý stupeň ZŠ… Držíme palce!
I was in Germany last week. About products Apple zero interest, all in stock. An iPad would cost about 15000 there, compared to about 12000 here, but again, a two-year warranty.
@Grog
v Apple store I never do either. nesthello, even if it's true that I order 99% of things online and you can see it there immediately, but if you noticed I mentioned services, for example restaurants, taxis, dry cleaners, ... that's where I encountered it. Concretely, he doesn't have to ask you rudely, and maybe he won't (where it's voluntary), he'll just look at you like a peasant and treat you like that next time. Well, where it's free, it's immediately included in the article.
2Grog: How do you pay by card in the us online store? I couldn't do it, I didn't want to take the card, because it was from the Czech Republic. It just wanted me to pay with a US card.
Kenny, do you feel that pointing out errors is rude and intolerant? Did you say that to the teacher who taught you to read and write? If a girl doesn't know grammar but tries to write articles, how will she improve if no one tells her. Better forgive yourself for the useless comment next time...
OMG stop arguing here. I hope that the article will be read by one of those experts who think that everything is super cheap in the USA and apple they are overpriced here and they don't have a clue about their taxes. Thank you for the article and be glad that you can always read something new here. Even though it's crumbs, it's still something! I firmly believe that next time the grammar will improve, because although other countries may not solve it, correct grammar, especially in Slovak, improves the quality of the contribution and often expresses the thought as it should be expressed. Slovenian is a wonderful language and it deserves to continue to be taught that way! Nice day
what not to fly like that new yorkto buy apple things directly from Slovakia or the Czech Republic? I was recently introduced to a site http://send2.eu/, you can order things, send them to an American address and they will forward it to you wherever you want. Does anyone have experience with such services?
I have been using it for a long time http://www.shipito.com/ and then complete satisfaction... :-)
Well, I was recently in NY for three weeks and Apple Store It wasn't very crowded. But the shopping went smoothly, the service was pleasant and with my not-so-best English I was able to Apple Store domluvil bez zádrhelů a cokoliv jiného.Dokonce jsem měl to štěstí vyskoušet si bez fronty iMac.Ale pokud chcete vyskoušet Mac Booky, zajděte do Best Buy,není tu žádná fronta.
